What you see is what you get.. This is our validation package which focus's on what is happening on the front end of your website. We will validate your site using over 20 different verification checks which all have different uses and will produce a different set of information for you.

Some things we will focus on include but is not limited to.

HTML Validation.

It is very important that any HTML code that is used in a website is valid and correct. If there are any errors in the way it is written or if there are missing end tags it can have a massive influence on the success of your site, not only to search engines but also the end user and how they see your website. The best way to ensure the most people can see your website is through ensuring that the code is validated against the latest standards.

Missing Tags

It can happen sometimes, something looks right but behind the scenes its not. Most modern browsers do a pretty good job of hiding developer errors but search engines and other browsers require the code to be proper and correct. We will tag match to ensure that things are as they should and everything is in the correct place.

Poorly Structured Site Code

"It looks okay so must be correct." This is a common phrase with many developers along with it'll do... Its not always the developers fault though. Sometimes its all bout profit and developers are given a small amount of time to accomplish task that would normally take longer, sometimes people want solutions right away and arent prepared to wait for them to be developed fully. No matter what the reasons are, site code can be poorly constructed. We will look at the code for those tell tale signs of short cutting.

Form Checking

So you have your website set up and ready for action. But do your forms work? It is very common for form elements not to be fully functional. It could be that your form does not check its contents properly, perhaps some form elements are not being checked, perhaps the wrong type of element is being used. You can be reassured that we will go through your forms and see if they are performing as they should and how we would expect a user to interact with them. Forms are one of the most important parts of a website as they allow us to interact with the user. Do not underestimate the effectiveness of a form.

Link Validation

External links are not the only important element, internal links between your own pages play a vital part. We will check these links work and produce valid results.

DNS Records

Are your DNS records configured correctly? we will have a look and make sure there are no conflicting setups.

We will take a number of pages to evaluate in order to get the widest understanding of how your current development has been completed. Once we have completed our verification process we will produce a report which will outline all our findings and any recommendations we have to overcome these. This will give you the information you need to become more stable, secure and effective for your users and your business in the long run. You should simply be able to provide this information to your current development company and get them to put right what should have been done in the first place and make sure they understand that you are using Skrootiny so any future work must be of good quality.
